(Albany, N.Y.) - Metropolitan District ECU, a $24 million credit union based in Hartford, Conn., is now partnering with Covera for debit/EFT processing and ATM network participation. The credit union will officially launch its new card program later this month.
As part of its partnership with Covera, Metropolitan District ECU can now offer its 1,800+ members access to more than 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs through the CO-OP Network.
“We were looking for a processor that would help us provide fee-free ATMs and live balances to our members,” said Michelle Randall, assistant manager at Metropolitan District ECU. “We also liked the fact that Covera offers one dedicated person who helps us with any and all aspects of our program. Our previous processor had multiple people who could only do certain things, which made it hard to find the right department to help us.”
“We’re very excited to welcome Metropolitan District ECU as a client,” said Covera COO Kimberly Ploof. “Covera is committed to providing personal service and a dedicated account representative to every credit union we serve, and more and more credit unions are taking advantage of our unique approach.”
