Tracy Conner joined the Credit Union Association of New York in 1998 and is the Vice President of Member Relations. She is responsible for overseeing the Association's management consultant team, which works with New York credit unions and chapters to strengthen the credit union movement.
Prior to her current role, Tracy held several leadership positions at the Association. She served as Vice President of Professional Development & Member Services, overseeing the Education & Training, Consulting Services and Member Services departments. She also served as Director of Member Relations, Director of Consulting Services and Strategic Management Consultant in Central and Western New York.
Before joining the Association, Tracy was Marketing and Communications Manager at a credit union for five years. During that time, she was involved in multiple operational areas, including business development, lending, member service and product development.
Tracy is a member of ESSAE and is often asked to speak at local and national conferences. She is also a certified STAR trainer and has achieved a Highest Honors designation from the National Credit Union Institute. Tracy also served as the Association's liaison on CUNA's HR/TD executive committee. She obtained a Master of Science degree in Business Management from Nazareth College in Rochester, NY and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology.
Dirck Van Deusen, Management Consultant
Dirck Van Deusen joined the Credit Union Association of New York in 2012. As a Management Consultant, he works closely with credit unions in the Long Island, Westchester and Metropolitan chapters to ensure they are maximizing the value of their Association membership.
Dirck previously served as the Association's Director of Political and Foundation Development. In that role, he worked with New York credit unions to encourage their financial support for the Association's political action initiatives and the New York Credit Union Foundation.
Before joining the Association, Dirck served as VP of Mortgage Business Development for CUMAnet. Prior to that, he spent more than 20 years at Empire Corporate FCU and Members United Corporate FCU, ending his tenure there as SVP of Corporate Relations. In that position, he was responsible for developing and leading the corporate's legislative and advocacy initiatives. He also represented the corporate on both state and national boards, including the New York Credit Union Foundation.
A native of Hudson, N.Y., Dirck received his Bachelor of Arts degree, cum laude, from Ithaca College.
Christopher Pajak, PHR - Management Consultant
Chris Pajak joined the Credit Union Association of New York in 2007 and is responsible for increasing awareness of the Association's membership benefits. As a conduit for enhanced communications within the credit union community, he regularly visits credit unions and attends chapter events, primarily in the Adirondack, Capital, Catskill-Hudson, Central New York, Finger Lakes, Southern Tier and Utica-Rome regions.
Chris previously served as Human Resources Consultant at the Association. Today, while fulfilling his role as a Management Consultant, he continues to support credit unions with their human resources needs.
Before joining the Association, Chris provided consulting services to credit unions throughout the northeast as a Senior Consultant with HRValue Group, LLC. He has also worked for global organizations such as Wyeth Pharmaceuticals and Nokia and spent three years as an HR Consultant and Account Manager with HR Logic, where he provided consulting to small- and medium-sized businesses.
Chris is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR). He is also a certified trainer with Achieve Global and Employment Learning Innovations (ELI) and is a current member of the national SHRM organization. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Rhode Island in the field of Human Sciences and Services.
Marge Kazz, Management Consultant
Marge Kazz joined the Credit Union Association of New York in 1996. As a Management Consultant, she works closely with credit unions in Buffalo, Niagara, Rochester and Jamestown to ensure they achieve maximum benefit from their Association membership.
Marge regularly conducts training and consultation, business plan development and strategic planning seminars for credit union volunteers, staff and management teams.
In 2010, Marge completed the Credit Union Development Education (DE) program and earned the Credit Union Development Educator designation (CUDE). Before joining the association, Marge managed two credit unions in Western New York.
