Lending School registrations due March 13
Credit union lenders have until March 13 to register for the Credit Union Association of New York's two-day Lending School. The popular event will be held April 2-3 at Association headquarters in Albany, N.Y., and information is available on the Association website.
Returning lead instructor Brett Christensen (CU Lending Advice, LLC) and presenters Jim Holt (CU Student Choice) and Bob Nealon (CU Direct) will combine expert insights, real-world applications and hands-on training to help attendees take their lending programs to the next level. Last year's attendees praised Christensen for making the event informational and entertaining, and 100 percent said they would recommend the Lending School to others.
Young pros invited to Central NY meet-up
Young professionals in the Central New York Chapter are invited to attend a networking meet-up March 27. The event will be held from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Lock 24 Restaurant (33 Water St., Baldwinsville, NY 13027).
Local members of the Credit Union Association of New York's Young Professionals Commission (YPC) will host the event, and Association Management Consultant Chris Pajak will share a presentation on the Association's role and the programs/services available to young professionals.
The event is free and open to credit unionists age 35 and under. For more information or to RSVP, visit the event webpage.
March 15 is deadline for Convention Program Book ads
Each year, the Convention Program Book is the indispensable reference guide used by Convention attendees to navigate events and activities. By advertising in the Program Book, credit unions and chapters can help support this valuable publication and share a message of their choice with Convention attendees.
Ads are available in three sizes and may be printed in color or black and white. All ads must be submitted by March 15. For details and instructions, visit the Convention website.
Reminder: CUs asked to share furlough assistance info
